Okay, so I’ve been meaning to hit up the Florida Gulf Coast for a while now, and I finally made it happen! I’ve heard so many good things about the beaches there, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
I started my trip by researching some popular spots along County Road 30A. I decided to drive along that road, cause why not? It’s supposed to be super scenic. First stop, Inlet Beach. It was early in the day and let me tell you, the place was just gorgeous. Super chill vibes, not too crowded. I just sat there for a while, enjoyed the quiet and took some photos.
Next Up: Siesta Key
After chilling at Inlet, I hopped back in the car and drove down to Siesta Key in Sarasota. This place is famous, you know? I parked near the public beach area, found a nice spot and relaxed. The sand is so fine, and soft. It’s like, really, really soft, it’s so nice. The water was perfect, just the right temperature. I even took a little dip to cool off, and played frisbee with some strangers. It’s a public beach, so it was pretty packed, but not like, in a bad way, you know? More like, good vibes, everyone’s having fun. It got late, so I decided to move on.
Final Destination: Clearwater Beach
My last stop was Clearwater Beach. I’d heard good things about this place, especially about the sunsets. So I got there in the afternoon, checked into my hotel, which was right on the beach – score! I grabbed a bite at this place called Frenchy’s. Pretty good, pretty standard beach food, but the view was awesome. After that, I just walked along the beach, enjoyed the breeze, and watched the sunset. And oh boy, was it amazing! Seriously, pictures don’t do it justice. It was the perfect way to end my little Gulf Coast adventure.
All in all, it was a pretty successful trip. I got to see some beautiful beaches, relax, and just enjoy the Florida sunshine. I would totally recommend checking out these spots if you’re ever in the area. Just remember to bring sunscreen, a hat, and some shades – that Florida sun is no joke!
