Alright, alright, let’s talk about them movies, the ones like that “Resurrection” thing. You know, the kinda movies that make you scratch your head and go, “Well, I’ll be darned.” I ain’t no fancy movie critic, mind you, just a regular person who likes a good story, especially if it gives me the chills or makes me think a bit. Movies like “Se7en” and “Prisoners” fit right in here. “Se7en” is real dark and gritty, about these cops chasin’ a killer who’s doin’ some real bad things. “Prisoners,” that’s another one, got parents lookin’ for their missing kids. Both of them, they got that same feelin’ as “Resurrection,” that somethin’ bad’s happened, and you gotta find out the truth, no matter how ugly it is.

And “Zodiac,” that’s about this killer who was never caught, and these folks tryin’ to figure out who he was. Both of them, they’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, that’s for sure.
And then there’s them movies that just plain scare the bejesus outta ya. Hauntin’ movies, they call ’em. Like “American Psycho,” “Fear,” and “Misery.” “American Psycho,” that’s about this fella who’s got a real dark side, let’s just say that. “Fear,” that’s about a girl who gets stalked, and it’s real creepy. And “Misery,” well, that’s about a writer who gets held captive by a crazy fan. If you like bein’ creeped out, these are the movies for you.
So, there ya have it. A few ideas for movies like “Resurrection.” Whether you like ’em spooky, gritty, or just plain scary, there’s somethin’ out there for everyone. And don’t you worry if you ain’t seen all the fancy new movies. Sometimes the old ones are the best. Just find somethin’ that grabs ya, and settle in for a good watch. And that Rebecca Hall, she was real good in Resurrection, and that Tim Roth fella too, “Rebecca Hall was tremendous and Tim Roth amazing” somebody told me. They sure knew what they were talkin’ about.

They even got them lists, you know, “Movies like Resurrection which are popular on Netflix, iTunes, Amazon,” so you don’t have to go searchin’ too hard. Just type in what you’re lookin’ for, and they’ll give you a whole bunch of choices. It’s easier than goin’ to the video store, that’s for sure. Remember them video stores? Land sakes, that was a long time ago.
