Okay, so I’ve been wanting to level up my wardrobe lately, and I kept seeing this brand, Jenni Kayne, all over my Instagram feed. Their stuff looked super nice—like, really good quality and timeless, you know? But the prices were kinda up there. So, I started thinking, there’s gotta be other brands out there that have that same vibe but are a bit easier on the wallet.
I started by making a list of what I liked about Jenni Kayne. It was all about that effortless, California-cool style. They use a lot of natural fabrics, like cashmere and cotton, and everything just looks so comfy and chic at the same time. Plus, they’ve started doing home stuff too, which is cool.
Then, I dove into some serious online window shopping. I started with some brands I already knew of like Quince and NAADAM and Free People. They’re pretty good, especially Quince and NAADAM if you want some good cashmere without spending a fortune. But I wanted to find some new places, too.
- First, I looked at Quince and NAADAM. They’re known for their cashmere, which is awesome. I mean, who doesn’t love a good cashmere sweater?
- Then there was Splendid. They have a similar laid-back vibe, but they’re a little more colorful than Jenni Kayne, which is fun if you want to add a bit of pop to your outfits.
- Free People was another one I checked out. They’re definitely more bohemian, but they have some pieces that could totally work if you’re going for that relaxed, effortless look.
- I also found other brands like Tuckernuck and Oak + Fort. It’s kinda minimal, I like its styles.
- Also, some big names like H&M, Zara, they surprisingly have some pieces that fit the bill, especially if you’re looking for basics.
Then I went down this rabbit hole of reading reviews and comparing prices. It took me, like, a whole weekend, but it was kinda fun. I felt like a fashion detective or something! I found a bunch of smaller brands, like, I don’t know, they just felt more unique, you know? Some were more expensive, but some were actually pretty affordable. I made a whole spreadsheet, comparing prices, materials, and styles. It was a lot, but I felt like I was really getting somewhere.
I ended up finding a few brands that I’m really excited about. Some, I already placed an order. I’m still exploring, but it’s been a fun journey so far. It’s cool to find brands that match your style and your budget, right?
Oh, and I also found some Indian online clothing brands that are apparently pretty popular, like Label Shaurya Sanadhya, BIBA, and Global Desi. They’ve got some really cool stuff. Might be worth checking out if you’re into that kind of style. I just thought that was really interesting and wanted to share.
Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to lately. Just trying to find some good quality clothes without breaking the bank. And exploring new styles, too. It’s all about feeling good in what you wear, right? And maybe saving some money while you’re at it! I’m pretty happy with what I found. I’m gonna wear these new pieces all the time. Maybe I will write another blog to share my new outfits!
