A few months ago, I found myself needing some new clothes, but I was really on the fence about where to shop. I’ve been a fan of Everlane for a while now – I mean, who doesn’t love their simple styles and the whole transparency thing they got going on? But lately, I’ve been feeling like branching out, you know, exploring other brands that give off a similar vibe. So, I decided to dive in and see what else is out there.
First, I hit up Google, naturally. I typed in “similar brands to Everlane” and scrolled through a bunch of articles and forum threads. I started making a list of the names that kept popping up: Quince, Uniqlo, Reformation, even Levi’s and Nordstrom Rack. It was a pretty mixed bag, from budget-friendly options to some that were definitely more of a splurge.
Digging Deeper
Then, I spent a good chunk of time just browsing each brand’s website. I wanted to get a feel for their style, their prices, and what they were all about. Quince caught my eye because I read somewhere that their quality is actually really good, like, sometimes even better than more expensive brands. That got me curious, so I added a few of their cashmere sweaters and silk tops to my cart, just to see. And you know what? They did feel really nice, especially for the price.
- Uniqlo was another one that seemed like a solid choice, especially for basics.
- Reformation, on the other hand, was a bit pricier, but I’d heard so many good things about their stuff.
- And Levi’s – well, they’re a classic for a reason, right?
The Verdict
After all that browsing and comparing, I ended up placing a few orders. I grabbed some basics from Uniqlo, a couple of things from Quince to test out the quality, and I even treated myself to a dress from Reformation. It was a bit of an experiment, but honestly, it was kind of fun stepping outside of my usual Everlane bubble.
I also learned a few things along the way. For example, I stumbled upon some smaller brands like ADAY, which seems great for sustainable clothing options. Overall, it was a good reminder that there are tons of great brands out there, and sometimes it’s worth it to just explore and see what you find. And while Everlane will always have a special place in my heart, it was refreshing to try something new, and you know what, I think this is something I will do more often.
