Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to add a little something to my car lately, make it a bit more “me,” you know? I spend a lot of time at the lake, it’s my happy place. So I thought, why not put a “lake life” decal on my car? It sounds simple enough, right?
I went online and looked around for some “lake life” decals. Found some pretty cool designs, and some basic ones too. Some were like, fancy fonts, others had pictures of, like, boats and sunsets. I ended up picking one that just said “Lake Life” in a nice, kinda bold font. Not too flashy, but it gets the point across.
I ordered it, and it arrived a few days later. It was smaller than I pictured, about 5.5 inches long and 3 inches wide. It came in a simple envelope. And it’s made of this shiny vinyl material. I guess that makes it waterproof and stuff, which is good because, you know, rain.
Next, I had to figure out where to put it. I was thinking either the back window or maybe on the bumper. I cleaned both spots with some soapy water and a rag, just to make sure it would stick good. I decided the back window was the better spot. It just seemed like it would look better there.
Putting it on was a little tricky. It had this backing paper that you had to peel off, and then you had to stick it on straight. Which took some work. I used a credit card to smooth it out and get rid of any air bubbles. Took me a few tries, and I messed up a little at first, but I finally got it on there straight and smooth.

I may even end up changing it to a picture of a lake or something later on, who knows.
