Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “life path number” thing all over the internet, and I finally decided to figure out what all the fuss was about. It’s supposed to be this number that reveals your, like, destiny or whatever. I was skeptical, obviously, but also kinda curious. So, I started my little experiment.
Figuring Out My Number
First, I googled “how to calculate life path number” and found a bunch of websites. They all basically said the same thing: you add up all the digits of your birth date until you get a single-digit number, or one of the “master numbers” (11, 22, or, in my case, 46).

So, here’s how I did mine:
- My birthday is July 24, 1988.
- I broke that down into: 07 (month) + 24 (day) + 1988 (year).
- Then, I added the digits of each part separately: 0 + 7 = 7; 2 + 4 = 6; 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 26.
- Next, I added those results together: 7 + 6 + 26= 39.
- Then, I added those results together: 3 + 9= 12.
- Then, I added those results together: 1 + 2= 3. So it means my life path is 3. But it’s not my case.
I did it again, and I got:
- My birthday is July 24, 1988.
- I broke that down into: 07 (month) + 24 (day) + 1988 (year).
- I added them together directly: 0+7+2+4+1+9+8+8=39.
- Then, I added those results together: 3 + 9= 12.
- I kept adding until I get 39, keep doing :3+9=12,1+2=3; Then, I added those results together:3+9=12. And now i get 39 again.
- I suddenly got a feeling that 39 maybe have something with 46, then I put 39+7=46.
- So I searched online that 46 is rarely seen as a “master numbers”. 7 is relative.
Reading About Life Path 46 and 7
Once I had my number, I, of course, went down the rabbit hole of reading about what it means. I checked out a few different websites and they all described 46, and its relative number, 7, is all about introspection, intuition, and seeking deeper truths. They’re the “philosophers” and “analysts” of the life path numbers. And 7 is often introverted, and they value wisdom and spiritual growth. 46 includes these traits, with a more practical vision to make it real.
My Reaction and What I’m Doing Now
Honestly, some of it kind of resonated with me. I do like spending time alone, and I’m always questioning things. I’ve always been the one thinking about “the bigger picture.” But I’m not, like, going to quit my job and become a monk or anything. I’ll keep my feet on the ground.
So, what am I doing with this newfound information? Not much, really. I’m just kind of keeping it in the back of my mind. It’s like a little extra lens to look at things through. Maybe I’ll pay a bit more attention to my intuition, or spend some extra time reflecting on things. It’s just another fun little thing to think about, you know?
It is intersting, right?
