Okay, so I’ve been on this journey to find the perfect pair of plus-size, button-fly jeans. You know, the kind that actually fits well, looks good, and doesn’t cost a fortune. It’s been a struggle, let me tell you!
The Hunt Begins
I started, like most people do, by just hitting up the usual stores. You know the ones. I tried on pair after pair. Some were too tight in the thighs, others gaped horribly at the waist. Some had buttons that felt like they were about to pop off with the slightest movement. It was seriously discouraging.
The Online Search
Then, I moved my search online. I figured there had to be more options out there. I spent hours, seriously hours, scrolling through websites, reading reviews, and comparing size charts. It was overwhelming! There are so many brands, so many styles, and so many mixed reviews.
The Trial and Error (Lots of Error)
- First Try: I ordered a pair from this one brand that had rave reviews. Nope. They were way too long, and the button fly was super stiff and uncomfortable. Back they went.
- Second Try: I tried a different brand, a darker wash this time. The fit was better, but the material felt cheap, and I just knew those buttons wouldn’t last. Returned those too.
- Third Try: I decided to go with this * almost fit, but were too tight.
Success (Finally!)
