Okay, so, today I decided to tackle something I’ve been curious about for a while – pairing a thong with a short skirt. I’ve seen this look around, and I wanted to see if I could pull it off and, more importantly, how it would feel.
First things first, I picked out my outfit. I went with a black, simple thong – nothing fancy, just basic and comfortable. For the skirt, I chose a denim mini-skirt. It’s short, but not too short, you know? I wanted to be able to move around without feeling like I was going to flash the world.

Getting dressed was the next step. Honestly, it felt pretty normal at first. Putting on the thong was just like any other day. Then, I slipped on the skirt. I did a few test bends and squats in front of the mirror, just to make sure everything was staying where it should. I chose to wear tights, because feel it make more sense.
- Walked around the house: I wanted to get a feel for it before stepping outside. It felt…interesting. I was definitely more aware of my backside, if that makes sense. Not in a bad way, just…different.
- Went for a short walk: Time for the real test! I headed out for a quick stroll around the block. I felt a little self-conscious at first, but I think that was mostly in my head.
- Sat down on a bench: This was the part I was most curious about. It wasn’t uncomfortable, surprisingly. I just had to be a little mindful of how I was sitting. No slouching!
So, the verdict? It’s not something I’d wear every day, but it wasn’t as outrageous as I thought it might be. I will try another short skirt, maybe not denim, with a lighter color next time, and probably without tights.
