Alright, let me tell ya ’bout these here “entertainment centers with piers,” ya know, the things ya put yer TV on and all that stuff.
Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but I know a thing or two ’bout furniture. These “piers,” from what I gather, they’re like them extra shelves and cabinets on the sides of the TV stand. Makes it look all grand and important-like, I guess.

I seen some pictures, and they got all sorts. Some are big, for them giant TVs the young’uns like. They say you can get ’em for TVs up to 50 inches, 60 inches, even 75 inches! Lordy, that’s a big TV! Back in my day, we had a little box in the corner and we were happy with it.
Some of them entertainment centers, they got all sorts of fancy names, like “Mosby,” “Ocean Club,” “Zurich,” and “Eloise.” Sounds like rich folks’ names to me. But they all do the same thing, hold yer TV and yer do-dads.
I saw one that was called “Costway Modern TV Stand.” It had a storage cabinet, which is good, ya need a place to put all yer junk. They even had one with drawers and open shelves. That’s handy for keepin’ things tidy, not that my place is ever tidy, mind you.
- Price: Now, these things, they ain’t cheap. I saw one for $259.99! That’s a lot of money, let me tell ya. But I guess if you want somethin’ fancy, you gotta pay for it.
- Brands: There’s all sorts of brands, like that “Costway” one I mentioned. And places like Wayfair, they sell ’em too. They got free shippin’ on most stuff, which is good, ’cause them things are heavy!
- Styles: They got all sorts of styles too. Some are “modern,” some are “rustic,” some are “farmhouse.” I don’t know what all them words mean, but they all look like places to put yer TV to me. One even had a “shelf bridge with light function”, now what in the world do ya need lights for on a shelf? Gussied up, that’s what it is.
Now, if you got one of them big TVs, like the ones they use in them movie theaters, you’re gonna need a big entertainment center. It’ll make yer house look all fancy and impressive-like. They say it gives ya that “home movie theater feel.” I reckon that means it makes it feel like you’re at the movies, but without all them noisy people crunchin’ popcorn.
I also heard tell that some of these here entertainment centers are made with somethin’ called “rubberwood solids and split heart white oak veneers.” Sounds fancy, but I bet it’s just wood. They say it’s “crafted with excellence,” which I guess means it’s put together real good.
Anyways, if you’re lookin’ for a place to put yer TV and all yer other stuff, one of these “entertainment centers with piers” might be just the ticket. Just make sure ya got enough room for it, and enough money to pay for it!

And don’t forget, ya gotta dust them things! All them shelves and cabinets, they collect dust like nobody’s business. But I guess that’s the price ya pay for havin’ a fancy place to put yer TV.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout “entertainment centers with piers.” Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make myself a cup of tea.
