Alright, so you wanna know about movies like Fractured, huh? That movie, the one with the fella, Liam Neeson? Yeah, I saw that one. Kept me guessin’ till the end, it did. Confused the heck outta me, but in a good way, ya know? Like when you can’t find your glasses and they’re on your head the whole time. Movies That Mess with Your Head, Just Like Fractured
First off, if you liked Fractured, you gotta check out Identity. It’s about a bunch of folks stuck in a motel durin’ a storm. And let me tell ya, things ain’t what they seem. People start dyin’ and you don’t know who to trust. It’s like a puzzle, but with more blood and less pretty pictures. Then there’s this Lincoln Lawyer movie, that one’s got a lawyer fella, smooth talker, but he gets caught up in somethin’ bigger than he bargained for. Lots of twists and turns in that one too. Makes ya wonder if anyone’s tellin’ the truth.
Now, if you’re into that whole “gaslightin’” thing, where they make you think you’re crazy, then Shutter Island is right up your alley. That one’s about a detective on an island with a bunch of crazy folks. But the more he investigates, the crazier things get. And he starts wonderin’ if maybe he’s the one who’s lost his marbles. It’s like when the rooster starts thinkin’ he’s a hen, real confusin’ it is.

You can find a lot of these movies on them streamy things, like Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+. They got all sorts of movies these days, it’s like a candy store but for your eyes. And if you can’t find ’em there, you can always rent ’em on iTunes or somethin’. Or go to the store and get one of them shiny discs, if they still make those. I saw some kids playin’ with ‘em shiny discs, thinkin’ it was some kind of new toy. Lord, kids these days ain’t got no clue.
Why We Like Movies That Mess with Our Minds
I reckon we like these movies ’cause they keep us on our toes. Life’s kinda boring sometimes, ya know? Same old routine, day in and day out. So it’s fun to watch a movie that makes you think, that surprises you. It’s like a rollercoaster for your brain. Up and down, twists and turns, and you never know what’s comin’ next. Makes you feel alive, I guess. Like when you almost step on a snake, but then you don’t. That jolt of energy, that’s what these movies give ya.
Fractured and the Fella with the Problems
Now, about Fractured itself, that movie was somethin’ else. That fella, Ray Monroe, he had some serious problems. Hallucinations, they call ’em. Seein’ things that ain’t there. And delusions, thinkin’ things that ain’t true. Poor fella was tryin’ to protect his family, but he was doin’ it all wrong. It’s like when you try to swat a fly with a hammer, you end up makin’ a bigger mess. The movie ends with him drivin’ off, thinkin’ he did somethin’ good, but he probably just made things worse. It’s a sad story, really, but it makes you think about how the mind can play tricks on ya.
Don’t Believe Everything You See (or Hear, or Think!)
So, if you’re lookin’ for movies like Fractured, movies that’ll keep you guessin’ and make you question everything, then you got plenty to choose from. Just remember, don’t believe everything you see, or hear, or even think. ‘Cause sometimes, the truth is stranger than fiction. And sometimes, your own mind can be your worst enemy. Like that time I thought I lost my teeth, but they were just in my pocket. Old age, it does funny things to ya, I tell ya.
