Okay, so I wanted to find some good Easter movies to watch with the family, and since we have Disney+, I figured I’d start there. Here’s how I went about it.
First, I opened up the Disney+ app on my TV. Gotta love that familiar loading screen!

Then, I tried searching for “Easter movies.” That didn’t really work. It brought up a bunch of random stuff, not necessarily Easter-themed.
So, I thought, “Okay, maybe I need to be more specific.” I remembered some classic animated movies that often get associated with Easter, even if they aren’t technically about the holiday itself.
My Semi-Successful Search Method
- I searched for “Winnie the Pooh Springtime with Roo.” That one’s a classic, and it definitely has that spring/Easter vibe. Disney+ had it! Score one.
- Then I tried to remember the movie with rabbits.”Bambi”? No and * is also a *’s a good one.
- I also typed in “Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade.” Even is not the same as the Disney movie, but they are both on Disney+.
I realized that Disney+ doesn’t really have a dedicated “Easter” category. It’s not like they do for Halloween or Christmas. Bummer!
So, I kind of had to get creative and just think of movies that felt spring-like or had bunnies or eggs in them. It wasn’t the most efficient way to do it, but we ended up with a few good options for our Easter movie marathon!
I hope that Disney+ will add an “Easter Movies” category sometime soon.
