I tell you what, this here Darth Maul life size statue, it’s somethin’ else. I seen a picture of it, and it gave me the willies! It’s as big as a grown man, maybe bigger. And the face on that thing, all red and black with them horns stickin’ out. Lord have mercy, it’s a sight.
My grandson, he’s all into this Star Wars stuff. He told me all about this Darth Maul fella. Seems he’s a bad guy, through and through. Got a red lightsaber, he does, and he’s a mean one with it. I wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley, no sir.

But this statue, it’s a real piece of work. They got all the details just right. The way they painted his skin, and them mean lookin’ eyes. It’s like he’s starin’ right through ya. Gives me the shivers just thinkin’ about it.
I reckon it’s made out of some fancy plastic stuff. Not like the cheap kind you find at the dime store. This is the good stuff, heavy and solid. You could probably knock a fella out with it if you had to. Not that I would, mind you. I ain’t got no use for such things. Just sayin’, it’s a hefty piece.
And the size of it! Like I said, it’s life size. That means it’s as big as that Darth Maul fella would be if he was real. Which he ain’t, thank the good Lord. But if he was, this statue is what he’d look like. Standin’ there, all menacing and such. Spooky, I tell ya.

I heard these things are expensive. Real expensive. More money than I’d ever spend on a statue, that’s for sure. But I guess for folks who like this Star Wars stuff, it’s worth it. They call it a collectible, I think. Means it’s somethin’ special, somethin’ you keep and show off.
My grandson, he’d love to have one of these Darth Maul life size statues. He’s been savin’ up his money, but I don’t think he’s got near enough. Maybe for his birthday, if he’s real good. But I don’t know. It’s a lot of money for a statue. Even if it is a Star Wars Darth Maul one.
I seen some smaller versions of this Darth Maul fella. Little figures you can hold in your hand. They ain’t as scary as the big one, but they still got that mean look. My grandson’s got a bunch of them. He plays with them all the time, makin’ them fight and such. Boys and their toys, I swear.

I don’t know. It’s all a bit beyond me. I’m more of a knick-knack person myself. Little porcelain birds and such. Nothin’ scary like that Darth Maul fella. But I can see why folks like it. It’s definitely somethin’ to look at. And it’s well-made, that’s for sure. You can tell they put a lot of work into it.

They say this Darth Maul fella is from a place called Dathomir. Sounds like somethin’ out of a scary movie. Maybe that’s why he looks the way he does. All red and black and horny. Comes from a scary place, I reckon.
Anyways, this Darth Maul life size statue, it’s a real piece of work. If you’re into that Star Wars stuff, you’d probably love it. Me, I’ll stick to my porcelain birds. But I can appreciate a good piece of craftsmanship when I see it. And this is definitely that.
If you’re lookin’ to buy one of these things, you better have deep pockets. They ain’t cheap. But I guess if you’re a real big Star Wars fan, it’s worth it. You can put it in your house and scare all your friends. Or maybe just impress them. Depends on what kind of friends you got, I reckon. This here is a good Darth Maul life size statue.
I still think it is creepy though. I do not want it in my house. That is for sure. But people can buy what they like, I guess. If they like Star Wars Darth Maul, this is something for them.
