Well, lemme tell ya about this “ana purse” thing. I ain’t no fancy lady with a closet full of bags, but I know a thing or two ’bout what’s practical and what ain’t.
First off, what in tarnation is an “ana purse”? Sounds like someone couldn’t come up with a real name. Is it short for somethin’? Like Anastasia? If it’s one of them highfalutin’ designer names, forget it. Who needs to pay a month’s worth of groceries just for a name?

Now, if you’re gonna spend money on a purse, make sure it’s worth it. Don’t go buyin’ somethin’ flimsy just ’cause it’s got a shiny buckle or somethin’. You need a purse that’ll hold up. Look at the stitches! Are they straight and tight, or are they all crooked and loose like a chicken’s been peckin’ at it? If the stitches ain’t good, the bag ain’t good. Period.
- Is it made of real leather? Or is it that fake stuff that peels and cracks after a few months? Real leather lasts. It might cost more upfront, but it’ll save you money in the long run ’cause you won’t be buyin’ a new purse every year.
- How big is it? Can you fit all your stuff in there? Your wallet, your keys, your phone, maybe a snack for the grandkids? Don’t get one of them tiny little things that can’t hold a lipstick, for cryin’ out loud.
- Does it have pockets? You need pockets! How else you gonna keep things organized? Nothin’ worse than rummagin’ around in a big ol’ black hole tryin’ to find your keys.
And what about the color? Black’s always a safe bet, goes with everything. But sometimes a little color is nice. Just don’t go gettin’ somethin’ wild and crazy that you’ll be embarrassed to carry in a year. Stick to somethin’ classic, somethin’ that’ll stand the test of time.
I seen folks buyin’ purses at them auctions. Used purses! Now, I ain’t sayin’ there’s anything wrong with that, but you gotta be careful. Make sure you look it over real good. Check for stains, check for rips, check for smells! You don’t wanna end up with someone else’s garbage.
Some folks say you can find good deals on them online marketplaces, like that “Poshmark” thing. I don’t know nothin’ about that, never bought anything online. Seems risky to me. How you gonna know what you’re gettin’ if you can’t hold it in your hands?
I did see one of them “ana” purses at the store the other day. It was leopard print. Now, I ain’t one for animal prints, but it did catch my eye. Said it was “a new approach.” I don’t know what that means, but it looked sturdy enough. And it was on sale! 70% off! Still, I didn’t buy it. I got enough purses as it is.
You know, in the end, it don’t really matter what kinda purse you got. It’s just a bag to carry your stuff. What matters is what’s inside. Your heart, your kindness, your love. That’s what counts.

But hey, if you want a good purse that’ll last, don’t just buy the first thing you see. Look around, compare prices, and make sure you’re gettin’ somethin’ worth your hard-earned money. And don’t let them fancy names fool ya. A good purse is a good purse, no matter what you call it.
