Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for some button fly jeans. You know, the ones with the buttons instead of a zipper? They just look so cool, and I wanted to try something different. I started by looking online, just browsing through different stores and brands.
- First up, I checked out some from PLNOTME. High-waisted, which I like, and they were only $29.98! But when I tried them on, they were kind of tight in the thighs.
- Next, I saw a pair from Koinshha. Also high-waisted, a bit pricier at $49.99. These fit better around the waist, but the legs were too baggy for my liking.
- Then there were these ripped ones from KUNMI. They were mid-rise, $37.99, looked super trendy. I got them on, but the rips were in weird spots and made my legs look, well, not great.
- I also tried Sidefeel. High-waisted for $35.99. They were too tight.
- Another one I tried is Flamingals. The price is $49.99. The size is OK, but they are not my type.
First Round of Trying Stuff On
So, the online thing wasn’t really working out. I decided to hit up some actual stores. My first stop was GAP. I’d heard they had a good selection of curvy jeans, which sounded promising.

- Curvy High Rise ’70s Flare Jeans: These were $47. They looked amazing on the hanger, but on me? Not so much. The flare was too much, and they were too long.
- Skinny Jeans in Gapflex: Also $41, these were super stretchy, which was nice. But they were more like jeggings, and I wanted actual denim.
- Mid Rise Vintage Slim Jeans: Only $23, so I thought, why not? They were okay, just kind of basic and didn’t really do anything for my figure.
- Soft Flex Straight Jeans: These were $31, and they were soft, I’ll give them that. But the fit was just off. Too loose in some places, too tight in others.
- Slim Selvedge Jeans: These were pricier at $79. They looked high-quality, but the fit was weirdly stiff and uncomfortable.
- Mid Rise Girlfriend Jeans: $34, and they were alright. A bit baggy, but not in a cute, slouchy way. More like a “I borrowed my dad’s jeans” way.
GAP Try-On Sesh
Feeling a bit defeated, I decided to try one more store: Levi’s. I mean, they’re the classic denim brand, right? I went in, and a sales associate helped me out. She suggested I try their Classic Straight button-fly jeans. They also have Silver Jeans Co., the price is from $42 to $87.95. But they are not button fly jeans.
I tried them on, and wow. They fit like a dream. Not too tight, not too loose, and the buttons added just the right amount of detail. They were a bit more expensive, they were on sale for $49.99, normally $59.50. But honestly, for the fit and quality, it was totally worth it.
I ended up buying the Levi’s, and I’ve been wearing them non-stop. They’re comfortable, they look great, and I feel awesome in them. So, after all that searching and trying on, I finally found my perfect button-fly jeans. It was a journey, but a totally worthwhile one!
