Okay, so I’ve been seeing black leather blazers everywhere lately and I finally decided to give the trend a try. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, honestly. I mean, it’s a pretty bold look, right?
First, I scoured my closet to see if I even owned anything that would remotely work with a black leather blazer. I found a few things:

- A simple white t-shirt. (Classic, can’t go wrong.)
- A pair of black skinny jeans. (Felt a little too… predictable?)
- A flowy floral dress. (Hmm, maybe?)
- A striped, long-sleeved shirt. (Potentially!)
Trying Some Combos
I started with the white t-shirt and black skinny jeans. It was okay, but felt super basic. Like, I was missing something. It needed… more.
Next, I threw the blazer over the floral dress. Okay, this was way more interesting! The contrast between the tough leather and the feminine dress was kinda cool. It felt edgy but still put-together.
Then I swapped the dress for the striped shirt and jeans. This was my favorite! It felt like the perfect balance. It was casual, but the blazer elevated the whole thing. I felt confident, comfortable, and stylish, all at the same time.
The Final Look (and Where I Wore It)
I added some simple silver hoop earrings and my favorite black ankle boots. I decided to wear this outfit to a casual dinner with friends.I felt a little self-conscious at first.
I actually really love how versatile the blazer is! I can see myself wearing it with so many different things. Definitely a worthwhile addition to my wardrobe.
