Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “life lately” posts all over my feeds, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It seemed like a fun, low-pressure way to document the little things, and honestly, my camera roll is a chaotic mess. I needed some way to organize it all!
Getting Started
First, I scrolled through my photos from the past few weeks. Wow, did I take a lot of pictures of my coffee? And my cat? Guilty. I picked out the photos that felt most representative of my days – the good, the bad, and the just plain ordinary.
Figuring Out the Captions
This was the tricky part. I didn’t want anything too cheesy or overly curated. Just real, you know? I started by just jotting down whatever came to mind when I looked at each picture.
- Coffee cup: “Fueling up for another day.”
- Cat picture: “The real boss of the house.”
- Sunset: “Chasing golden hour.”
- Messy desk: “Organized chaos, that’s my style.”
- Dinner with friends:”Good food good mood.”
I played around with the wording, trying to keep it short and sweet. Sometimes I added a little detail, like where I was or who I was with. Sometimes I just left it at a single word or phrase.
Putting It All Together
After the captions, I picked the photos, arranged the order to post. It’s not perfect, but it’s a * felt good to take a moment and actually reflect on the everyday moments.
It is a nice feeling.
