One thing’s for sure, no matter where you go in the Midwest in the winter, you gotta be prepared for the cold. That means layers, hats, gloves, scarves, the whole shebang. And don’t forget about good boots, ’cause you don’t want your toes gettin’ frostbit. That ain’t no fun, let me tell you. I had a cousin once who got frostbite on his nose, and it turned all purple. Looked like a plum, it did.
