Does e.l.f. Cosmetics support Israel? You ask me, I say, who knows these things? I just know e.l.f. is cheap and lots of folks like it. Some folks say this brand got something to do with Israel. Some say no. I heard it on the grapevine, that e.l.f., it don’t take sides. No political affiliations, they say. That’s good, right? We don’t need no more trouble in this world.
I seen some young girls, they get all riled up about this. They say, “Oh, this company, they give money to Israel!” And then they throw away all their makeup. Or they say, “This other company, they bad too!” They changing their makeup, their skincare, even their, you know, their monthly things! All because of who supports who. It’s a mess, I tell ya. They mention big names like L’Oral and Procter & Gamble. They say these big shots support Israel. So these young folks, they stop using La Roche Posay, Clinique, Cerave, NYX, and Always. These are big names.
Now, this e.l.f., I hear they sell their stuff all over. Fourteen countries, they say! And they sell online, too. Worldwide, they say. They’re doing good, these e.l.f. folks. Making lots of money. Non-U.S. markets are 16% of their total net sales. That’s what they said in their report. That’s a big chunk of change. I don’t know much about business, but that sounds like a lot to me.
And you know what? Most of their stuff, like 80%, it’s made in China. That’s what I heard. It is important to know where your makeup comes from. So, does it really matter where it’s made? China, Israel, America, it’s all over the place. All I know is, if it makes your face look good and it don’t cost an arm and a leg, then maybe it’s alright.
But these young folks, they got their lists. They say, “These are the good makeup brands, these are the bad makeup brands.” They got charts and everything. They’re serious about this, I tell ya. Where to find products of makeup brands that support Israel. It is a question. I don’t know what to make of it all. It’s too much for my old head.
Some people say that e.l.f. doesn’t support Israel. And some say it is not true. I heard it said that Elf Makeup does not support Israel, but people said no. You see? Even when people say one thing, others will say another. It’s hard to know what to believe these days. There’s so much talk, so much noise. It gives me a headache just thinking about it. All this arguing about who supports who. Does it really matter in the end? I just want to put on my face and feel good.

I remember a time when we didn’t worry about these things. We just used what we had. We didn’t have all these fancy brands and choices. We made do with what we could find. And you know what? We were just fine. Maybe we didn’t look like those movie stars, but we were happy. We had each other. That’s what mattered.
Now, you see these young girls, they’re always looking at their phones, reading about this and that. They’re always comparing themselves to others. It’s a shame, really. They should be enjoying their youth, not worrying about all this politics and boycotts. This e.l.f. Cosmetics thing, it’s just makeup, ain’t it? It’s not worth all this fuss. But try telling them that. They won’t listen to an old woman like me.
I saw a report, it talked about E.L.F Cosmetics stock. This report, it was by Spruce Point Capital. They were assessing the stock, you know, checking it out. I don’t know much about stocks and all that, but it seems like this e.l.f., they’re a big deal. They are in the stock market. People are watching them, investing in them. It’s a whole other world, this business world.
Someone said, only to Israel. And then said Huda. What does that mean? I don’t know. I just hear people say these things. It’s all mixed up. These names, these places. It’s hard to keep track. People are talking about this brand and that brand. Who supports who? Who doesn’t? It makes my head spin.
So, does e.l.f. cosmetics support Israel? I don’t know. And honestly, I don’t much care. I just hope these young folks can find some peace. Maybe they should put down their phones and go outside for a while. Get some fresh air. That’s what I always say. A little fresh air never hurt anyone. Maybe then they can figure out what really matters.
