So, I’ve been wondering about this for a while: does Target sell MAC cosmetics? I mean, Target’s my go-to for like, everything, but I wasn’t sure about MAC. I usually just order my MAC stuff online, but hey, if I could grab it while I’m picking up my groceries, that’d be super convenient, right?
First thing I did was hit up the Target website. I typed “MAC cosmetics” into their little search bar. The results? A bunch of stuff popped up, but it was mostly other brands, not actual MAC. Hmm, okay, not looking good.

Then I thought, maybe it’s an in-store only thing? So, I drove over to my local Target. I walked over to the beauty section, you know, where all the makeup is, and started looking around. I saw a ton of different brands – Covergirl, Maybelline, e.l.f., the usual suspects – but no MAC.
I even asked one of the employees working there. I was like, “Hey, do you guys sell MAC cosmetics?” She gave me this kinda confused look and said, “No, I don’t think so. We have a lot of other makeup brands, though!”
Feeling a bit defeated, I decided to do some more digging online. I googled “MAC cosmetics at Target” and found some articles talking about it. Turns out, Target does have a partnership with Ulta Beauty. And Ulta does sell MAC! But it seems like it’s only in select Target locations that have an Ulta Beauty section inside. Bummer, my local Target doesn’t have one of those.
Finally I searched online for MAC locations and deals on makeup. Although I found a lot of information about MAC, I couldn’t see any specific results regarding Target on its official website.
- Target’s website doesn’t really sell MAC products directly.
- Most Target stores don’t carry MAC cosmetics in their regular beauty section.
- Some Targets have Ulta Beauty shops inside, and those might sell MAC.
- MAC official website does not sell products through Target.
My Conclusion:
So, yeah, looks like I’ll be sticking to ordering my MAC stuff online or heading to an actual MAC store or counter. It would be awesome if Target started selling MAC everywhere, but for now, it’s a no-go at my local store. Oh well, at least I can still get my MAC fix elsewhere!
