- Words end in “-cone,” “-conol”? Yep, probably silicone.
And if it don’t got them words, then it’s probably what they call water-based. I heard that’s better for your skin. Don’t clog up your pores, they say. And it is lighter. But does it cover up them wrinkles as good? I don’t know. Some people say water-based stuff is lighter. That’s good if you sweat a lot.
I saw a girl at the store, and she said this water-based concealer, it is good. She said, you can use it with some power grip. I do not know what is that, some new things young people use, I guess. Anyway, water-based, it is also a good choice.
So many choices, this concealer, that concealer, all those brands, I just do not know. So many new brands. In my day, there is only a few. And there is no silicone or water based, just concealer. You buy it and use it. That is all. Nowadays, too many brands. Makes my head spin.
Back then, we did not care so much about these things, just a little powder, that is all. We did not have so much money to spend on those things, you know. We worked hard, and we looked good, even without all these fancy stuff. We are strong, and we are beautiful.
But now, every girl, they want this concealer, that foundation. They want to look like them girls on the TV. And they spend all their money on it. Is it worth it? I don’t know. Some girls, they look good, I guess. But some, they put on too much. Looks like a mask, ya know? Not natural.
When you want buy it, just go to store and see. You can try some on your hand, see if it is good, see if you like it. And read the label. And you can ask the girl in the store, she will tell you, which one is good, which one has that silicone. If you want buy online, just remember to check it before you pay, and see if you can return. Some allow you to return, that is good.
I remember one time, I bought this cream, it was supposed to make me look ten years younger. Ha! Didn’t work, of course. Wasted my money. So you gotta be careful, honey. Don’t believe everything they tell ya.
