Well, let me tell you, this whole thing about is stila cosmetics cruelty-free, it’s got me thinkin’. I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market the other day, and it got me scratchin’ my head. I ain’t one for fancy words, but I reckon it means if they hurt critters makin’ their makeup.
Now, I ain’t never used that stila stuff myself. I stick to my tried and true, you know? But, my granddaughter, she’s all about that fancy makeup. She’s always got somethin’ new, with colors brighter than a rooster’s comb. So, I figured I’d try to understand this whole cruelty-free business for her sake.

They say, yeah, this stila stuff, it’s cruelty-free. That means they ain’t testin’ it on no animals. Now, that’s somethin’ I can get behind. I don’t like the thought of them poor animals gettin’ poked and prodded just so we can have some color on our faces. No sir, that ain’t right.
They say this stila, they used to sell their stuff over in China. That big country over the ocean. But they stopped. Good for them, I say! If you gotta hurt animals to sell your stuff, then you shouldn’t be sellin’ it at all. So I think that is stila cosmetics cruelty free.
They got this little bunny picture, see? You look for that on the back of the box. If it’s got that bunny, then it’s supposed to mean it’s good. No animal testin’. They say there’s three of them little bunny pictures you can trust. Three! That is a lot of bunnys. One of ’em is called PETA, I think. Sounds like that bread we eat.
- If you see a bunny, it’s good.
- No bunny, maybe not so good.
- They ain’t testin’ on animals, that’s the main thing.
- Stila used to sell in China, but not anymore.
So, is stila cosmetics cruelty-free? Seems like it. They say they are, and they got that bunny picture. That’s good enough for me. I reckon my granddaughter will be happy to hear that. She cares about them little critters, just like I do.
I saw some ads on them flashy boxes, talkin’ ’bout stila cosmetics. One said somethin’ ’bout “Make Your Look More Even Toned.” What in tarnation does that even mean? Even toned? Like my singin’ voice? I reckon it means it makes your face all one color, like a freshly painted barn. Lord knows I’ve seen enough blotchy faces in my day. Maybe this stuff helps with that. But that don’t mean the brand must be good, even toned or not, is stila cosmetics cruelty-free is the most important thing.
Another one, it said, “Explore stila, Add Best-Selling Products To Your Look Today.” Best-selling? Well, that just means a lot of folks are buyin’ it, don’t it? Don’t necessarily mean it’s any good, just popular. Like them silly dances the young folks do. Popular, but don’t make a lick of sense to me. They also have a thing, they call “Buy Online Pickup In-Store”. I don’t understand those things.

And then there was this other one, “Browse the Wonderful Selection of Makeup Products at Macy’s Today!” Macy’s, ain’t that one of them big fancy stores in the city? I ain’t never been. I hear they got more stuff than you can shake a stick at. Probably got this stila stuff, too. They talk about “Get The Best Beauty Products at Macy’s.” “Shop Fragrances, Makeup.” Fragrances, that’s just a fancy word for smells, ain’t it? They probably got perfumes that cost more than my whole Sunday outfit. And I still think about is stila cosmetics cruelty-free.
stila cosmetics, cruelty-free, even toned, best-selling, Macy’s… it’s all a bit much for this old gal. But the important thing is, they ain’t hurtin’ animals. That’s what matters. So, if you’re gonna buy that stila stuff, just make sure you see that little bunny. That’s the sign that they’re doin’ things right. And that is what I want to know about is stila cosmetics cruelty-free.
This cruelty free thing is important. I remember back in the day, we didn’t have all these fancy brands and choices. We made do with what we had. But times change, I reckon. And if we can have our makeup and not hurt any critters in the process, then that’s a good thing. So, yeah, is stila cosmetics cruelty free, I think it is. Good for them. It is good for everybody, I think so. And you can buy it at that big store, Macy’s. What a world, what a world!
I still don’t know what “even toned” means though. Maybe my granddaughter can explain it to me. She’s a smart girl. She’ll probably tell me all about this stila stuff and how it’s gonna make me look like a movie star. I doubt that, but it’s nice to dream, ain’t it? As long as they ain’t hurtin’ no bunnies to make it, I suppose a little dreamin’ never hurt nobody. But movie star is too much for me, I just want to know is stila cosmetics cruelty-free. That is enough.
Yep, that’s the long and short of it. This old gal learned somethin’ new today. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll try a little bit of that stila stuff. Just a little, mind you. Don’t want to go gettin’ too fancy now. But if it makes me feel a little prettier, and no animals were harmed in the makin’ of it, then why not? Just have to find that bunny logo first. That’s the key. That little bunny is the most important part of this whole thing. Because is stila cosmetics cruelty free is a big deal for some people, you know.
