Okay, so I’ve been on this kick lately trying to find some good old Max Factor makeup. You know, the classic stuff. It’s not as easy to find in stores as it used to be, so I decided to do some digging and see where I could actually buy it.
First, I headed to my usual spots. I checked out the makeup aisles at a couple of drugstores and big-box retailers, but no luck. They had some of the newer brands, but hardly any Max Factor.
- Tried the local drugstore – nothing.
- Checked a big retailer – a few items, but not what I wanted.
- Asked a store employee – they didn’t even know what Max Factor was!
Feeling a little defeated, I decided to go online. I started with the big online retailers. There were a bunch of listings, but it was hard to tell which ones were legit and which ones were just old products.
Then I remembered seeing something about checking product pages for buying options. So, I clicked on a few listings, and sure enough, some of them had links to other sellers. It was like a little treasure hunt!
I also noticed some products had sustainability certifications. I don’t know much about it but thought it is cool.
I found a website called Direct Cosmetics that seemed to specialize in Max Factor. They had a huge selection, and the prices were pretty good. It was a bit of a gamble ordering from a site I’d never used before, but I decided to take a chance. I mean how bad it could be?
In the end, I was able to find most of the Max Factor products I was looking for online. It took a little more effort than just walking into a store, but it was worth it to get my hands on some of my favorite makeup.
So, if you’re looking for Max Factor, don’t give up! It’s still out there, you just have to know where to look.
