Alright, let’s gab about this “IT Cosmetics” stuff, where they make it and all that. You young folks with your fancy makeup, always asking where this and that comes from. Back in my day, we just used beet juice for rouge and that was that!
So, this IT Cosmetics, I hear it’s good stuff, covers up them wrinkles and spots real nice. People say it’s made in Korea. Korea, huh? That’s far away! They do make good things over there, I hear. Like them fancy cars and such.
But then I also heard tell that most of it is made in China. China makes everything these days, don’t they? From your shoes to your TV, and now your face goop too. Can’t hardly buy nothin’ made here anymore, can ya?
- One thing’s for sure, this here IT Cosmetics, it ain’t made by some little fella in his garage no more.
- Nope, it’s part of some big company called L’Oreal. You know, like the hairspray? Yeah, them folks.
They got factories all over the world, they say. 42 of ’em! Imagine that! That’s more barns than we got cows in this whole county! So, they could be makin’ your face cream anywhere, really. But mostly, they say it’s China and South Korea. That’s what the word on the street is, anyways.
Now, some folks are fussy about where their stuff comes from. They want it “cruelty-free,” which means they don’t want no animals gettin’ hurt for their makeup. And “vegan” means no animal stuff in it at all. I reckon that’s a good thing. Back in my day, we didn’t think much about it, but times change, I guess.
This IT Cosmetics, they say they don’t test on animals, which is nice. But some folks are still complainin’, sayin’ they use stuff that ain’t so good for the earth, like all that plastic packaging. Always gotta be somethin’, don’t there?
This L’Oreal company, they bought IT Cosmetics back in 2016. Seems like these big companies are always gobblin’ up the little ones. Guess that’s just how it goes in the business world. Rich folks gettin’ richer, I say.
Anyways, so where is it made? Sounds like it could be anywhere L’Oreal’s got a factory, but mostly China and South Korea is what people say. Does it matter? Well, some folks it does. They want to know their money ain’t goin’ to some place that don’t treat their workers right or don’t care about the animals or the earth. Me? I just want somethin’ that covers up these darn age spots!
I tell ya, this makeup world is complicated. Back in my day, you had your powder and your lipstick, and that was it. Now you got your CC creams and your primers and your… Lord knows what else! And everyone’s worried about where it’s all made and what’s in it. It’s enough to make your head spin!
So, there you have it. IT Cosmetics, made by L’Oreal, probably in China or South Korea, maybe somewhere else. Good stuff, they say, but you gotta make up your own mind about where you spend your money. That’s what I always say. And don’t forget to wash your face at night! That’s more important than any of this fancy makeup, if you ask me. Just good old soap and water, that’s all you need.
And another thing, all these creams and lotions, they promise you the world, but nothin’s gonna stop you from gettin’ old. It’s just a fact of life, like taxes and the sun comin’ up in the mornin’. So don’t go wastin’ all your hard-earned money on stuff that ain’t gonna do what it says. Just a little bit to feel pretty, that’s all you need. And a good smile, that’s the best makeup a woman can wear, I always say.
To sum it all up, nobody really knows for sure where every single little bottle of this stuff is made, but it’s a good bet it’s China or South Korea, seeing how that’s where L’Oreal does a lot of its work. So if that bothers you, well, then maybe you gotta find somethin’ else. But if it don’t, and you like the way it makes you look, then go right ahead and slap it on. It ain’t nobody’s business but your own. That’s what I say.
