Okay, so, I’ve always been into that whole autumn vibe, you know? And what’s more fall than a pumpkin patch? But I’m not a little kid anymore, so I wanted to make it a bit more, I don’t know, grown-up? So, me and my friends, we decided to hit up a pumpkin patch, but with a twist – make it a teen-approved adventure.
Finding the Right Spot
First things first, we had to find a decent pumpkin patch. Not just any random place with a few sad-looking pumpkins. We wanted the real deal. So, I went online and looked for the best pumpkin patch. Reading reviews, seems easy enough, right?

Pumpkin Picking 101
We also wanted to be all smart about picking our pumpkins. Like, we’re not just gonna grab the first orange thing we see. I did a little digging online beforehand. Apparently, you gotta check if the pumpkin is firm and the stem is still attached. Who knew? You also have to squeeze it a bit. Soft spots? Nope, those are bad. It won’t last long. And the stem? It has to be strong. My pumpkin had the stem broken a little bit, and I didn’t pick it up.
The Actual Adventure
So, we get to this pumpkin patch. It was huge! Pumpkins everywhere. We started wandering around, checking out the pumpkins, following my little tips I found online. I grabbed a couple that felt solid and had good stems. Then I tried another one. It felt a bit soft, and I realized that I should not buy it. It might not last long. So, I kept searching until I found the perfect pumpkin. Then, my friends and I picked pumpkins we liked, and we were laughing and taking a ton of photos. It was actually really fun, even though we’re not little kids anymore.
The Aftermath
We ended up with some pretty awesome pumpkins. I got one that was perfect for carving a spooky face. My friend got a huge one, just because, why not? We also grabbed some of those little gourds and some colorful corn, ’cause they just looked cool. And we had a good time, took a lot of pictures, and made a lot of good memories.
So yeah, that’s how our teen pumpkin patch adventure went down. We found a good spot, picked some solid pumpkins, and made some good memories. It was way more fun than I expected, to be honest. Definitely a fall tradition I’m keeping up.
