Okay, so I’ve been on this mission to find Max Factor cosmetics lately. I’m trying to find this brand, because I heard good things about their products.
First, I checked the history of this brand. I found out that Max Factor was started way back in 1909 by a makeup artist with the same name. I also learned that they pulled out of the U.S. market in 2006, but they were bought by Coty in 2015 and relaunched in 2018. It’s like they disappeared and then came back again!
Then, I started looking for where to buy their stuff. I knew they weren’t as easy to find in the U.S. anymore, but I was still hopeful. I learned that the brand is sold in more than 70 countries worldwide, but withdrew from the US market in 2006. What a bummer!
Shopping at Target
My first thought was Target. You know, Target has everything, right? I searched online and, guess what? They do have some Max Factor products! It was exciting. I added a few things to my cart.
- Searched Target’s website: I typed “Max Factor” in the search bar and a bunch of stuff popped up.
- Browsed the selection: I saw foundation, lip color, and a few other things.
- Added to cart: I picked out a foundation and a lip color that looked promising.
Exploring Other Online Stores
After Target, I decided to check out some other online makeup stores. I found a website called * that had a bunch of Max Factor stuff. I clicked around and did the following:
- Used filters: I used their filters to sort by product type and price range. Pretty standard stuff.
- Compared prices: I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal, so I compared the prices with what I saw at Target.
- Looked at reviews: I read a few reviews to see what other people thought about the products.
Finding Specific Products
I was particularly interested in their Facefinity foundation and the Pan-Cake Water-Activated Makeup. So I did a specific search for these items.
- Facefinity Foundation: I found it on a couple of different websites. The price varied a bit, so I made a note to compare them later.
- Pan-Cake Makeup: This one was a little harder to find, but I eventually found it on a site that had a lot of older makeup products. It was more expensive than I expected, though.
Conclusion
So, after all that searching, I realized that Max Factor is still out there, but you have to look a little harder for it. Target is a good place to start, and then there are other online stores that carry their products. I’m still deciding what exactly to buy, but I’m glad I did all this digging. Now I know where to go when I’m ready to try out some Max Factor goodies!
