Alright, girls, gather ’round! Let me tell you, if you wanna have a real hootenanny for your last fling before the ring, upstate New York is the place to be. I heard all about these bachelorette party things, city folks got nothin’ on us country gals when it comes to a good time.

Now, I ain’t one for them fancy places, but I hear tell there’s some real nice spots up in the mountains. Places with names like, uh, Bear Mountain Spa. Sounds kinda wild, don’t it? I reckon you can get all pampered up there, get your nails done, maybe even a mud bath. Lord knows I could use one of them after a day in the garden.
Then there’s this other place, Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa. Now that just sounds pretty, don’t it? I bet they got all sorts of girly things to do there. Maybe you can sit around, sip some sweet tea, and gossip about all the fellas. And they got rooms, so you can all stay together and giggle all night long. Just like when we was young and had them slumber parties, remember, Ethel?

And listen to this one – Mohonk Mountain House. Sounds like somethin’ out of a storybook, don’t it? I bet it’s got views that’ll make you wanna just sit and stare for hours. And they probably got horses, too. City girls love them horses, don’t they? You can probably ride around all day, pretendin’ you’re some kinda princess. Ha! If only we had something like this when I was a girl. We’d walk 10 miles in the snow uphill both ways just to go to the general store.
Then there is some place called, what was it again, ah, Troutbeck. Fancy name. I imagine they have a bunch of outdoor stuff for you to do with your girlfriends. And clean rooms of course! You city girls sure like to spend money. Back in my days, we didn’t have money to spend on fancy parties.
Fun Things to Do – Upstate NY Bachelorette Party
But you know, it ain’t all about fancy spas and whatnot. We got some real fun things to do around here, too. I saw these young folks doin’ one of them paint and sip classes. They were all laughin’ and carryin’ on, paintin’ pictures and drinkin’ wine. Looks like a right good time, if you ask me. And we also have pottery classes. Not as fancy, but you can get your hands dirty.
And if you’re into cookin’, there’s cooking classes, too. You can learn how to make all sorts of fancy dishes. Not like the good ol’ fashioned cookin’ we do, but I guess it’s somethin’ different. You can learn to cook all the food your future husband likes. What was his name again? Nevermind.
Now, if you really want some excitement, you can always head down to one of the cities. I hear Las Vegas is a real wild place. They got all them casinos and shows. But honestly, it sounds a bit too much for me. Too many people, too much noise. I’d rather be back home on the farm, where it’s nice and peaceful. But for an upstate NY bachelorette party, it can be fun, I guess.
And then there is Nashville. Oh, Nashville! I hear that it is the place for an upstate NY bachelorette party. Apparently, everyone goes there now. The city folks say that it is too crowded now. I guess too much of a good thing can be bad. Ha! Not like those city folks know anything about too much work! We work sun up to sun down here in the country.
